Summer Glau

 Glau's first TV appearance was as a guest star in the episode in 2002 of Angel. The director who spotted her was JossWhedon, who ultimately was cast as River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. The role she also reprised for Serenity's feature film sequel. Glau had applied previously to play the Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger alyssa Eile) role in Power Rangers Wild Force, but was defeated by Jessica Rey. She was Shelly the high school senior, in Sleepover. She was also in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "What's Gilbert Grissom Eating? ", and season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart). Glau played Tess Doerner (a paranoid, psychotic returning character) in the second season of The 4400. From season three, she became a recurring role. She also starred in the horror film Mammoth. Glau was also part of ABC Family TV's movie The Initiation of Sarah. Glau played Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. This series debuted January 13, 2008. The seventh episode of the show, "The Demon Hand" included several scenes where Glau acting as Cameron was seen dancing in ballet. In the second season's episode "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young her human doppelganger. Glau was also in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, a CBS comedy series that is a situation comedy.
